Viva La Vista.
On that day, restaurants bring their food outdoors to booths along Lincoln Street and bands play on three stages.
The food festival this year – its fifth year -- is from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29. The Vista’s most popular restaurants will be serving samples of their specialties. Among more than 20 participating restaurants are the
Blue Marlin,
Blue Tapas,
Cupcake,
Flying Saucer,
Gervais & Vine,
Jillian’s Columbia,
LongHorn Steakhouse,
Motor Supply Company,
Pearlz,
SakiTumi Grill and Sushi Bar and
Takosushi.
Admission to Viva La Vista is free, but you will need tokens for food and beverages. Tokens are $1 each, and all items are from two to 10 tokens. New to the festival this year is a wine garden with all you can sample wines for 10 tokens.
Live entertainment on three stages will be going on from 11:30 to 7 p.m.
