It’s a sweep for
Charleston Cooks.
With the opening of
the Columbia store, the cooking specialty shop now has locations in South Carolina’s three largest cities:
Charleston,
Greenville and
Columbia.
The Columbia store opened Nov. 12 in
Cross Hill Shopping Center, next to a new
Whole Foods Market that opened in late October.
I haven’t been able to visit the Columbia store yet, but I visited
the Greenville shop soon after its July 2 opening on Main Street.
It’s a great shop for people who love to eat and cook. You can find almost anything you might want, from cookbooks, knives, bowls and casseroles, pots and pans, food processors, and all sorts of cool kitchen gadgets.
All of the stores offer cooking classes in their model kitchens, although a schedule for the Columbia shop isn’t posted yet.
Charleston Cooks is part of
Maverick’s Southern Kitchens, and the Charleston shop is next to
Slightly North of Broad, one of four Maverick restaurants.
