Devereaux's to close this fall

Devereaux’s, one of Greenville’s best-known spots for upscale dining, will be closing in the fall.

The Table 301 restaurant is closing because the company’s lease will be running out in the fall and a new tenant will be taking over, said Carl Sobocinski, the owner of Table 301.

“With change comes opportunity,” Sobocinski said in an email to customers. “Change is hard as we will lose a restaurant that we love later this year, but this brings new culinary opportunities to explore. Keep an eye out for what’s to come from Table 301.”

The restaurant, just off of Main Street, is in an old cigar factory that’s been beautifully renovated. Chef/Partner Spencer Thomson and his staff have built a reputation for excellent cuisine.
