at Viva La Vista
from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7.
This is the sixth year of the festival that showcases the restaurants of the Congaree Vista
in downtown Columbia.

will be selling craft beer for $5. Other beer is available for $5. Wines will be available with a ticket to the wine garden.
Music is also a big part of Viva La Vista, with reggae band The Wailers headlining this year. Seven local and regional bands also will be performing.
If a few hours outdoors in famously hot Columbia is too much for you, you can get a VIP pass to the Vista Room at the Blue Marlin. VIPs can go to a meet-and-greet with The Wailers. You can get cocktails and tailgating food and watch football. VIP tickets are $65 in advance.
Entrance to Viva La Vista is $10 in advance or $12 at the gates. Vendors will accept cash for food and beverage sales, and ATMs will be available. Children 12 and younger are admitted free.
The Vista area was once a warehouse and industrial area. It’s gotten new life with more than 60 restaurants and bars as well as art galleries and specialty shops.
