Garden & Gun Jubilee is coming to Charleston

Garden & Gun magazine is bringing a Jubilee to Charleston, complete with a dinner by Chef Mike Lata and pork barbecue by pit master Rodney Scott.

Jubilee Made in the South Weekend will be Dec. 6-8 at Charles Towne Landing, on the banks of the Ashley River.

Lata of FIG and The Ordinary will the chef in charge of Dinner and a Show, also featuring country singer Junior Brown, on Saturday night.

Scott, the pit master of Scott’s Bar-B-Que in Hemingway, will build a pit and cook four pits to be served on Sunday.

Chefs Sarah O’Kelley and Chris Stewart of the Glass Onion will be serving their specialties at a pop-up diner all three days.

Activities include Trunk Shows featuring Southern designers; a Made in the South Marketplace with select goods made by Southern artisans; an Antiques Tent; a Sport Shop featuring decoys, knives and more; and a Southern Pantry with food and drink items.
