Now's your chance to tour Happy Cow Creamery

If you don’t believe happy cows make great milk, you haven’t tried milk from Happy Cow Creamery

Tom Trantham, the owner of this dairy in Pelzer, says his cows are happy because of what they’re fed, because he doesn’t use chemicals or chemical fertilizer on his farm.

I can vouch that the milk from his farm is exceptional. When I buy his chocolate milk, it almost disappears before I get it into the refrigerator.

If you’d like to meet Trantham’s happy cows and tour his farm, you can do so on Dec. 1 at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. or 3 p.m. You’ll get a chance to tour barn and bottling plant and sample the milk.

The cost is $3 per person and free for children younger than 3.
