Start your summer off with a splash! Join Colleton State Park and the expert guides from the Edisto River Canoe and Kayak Commission for "Blackwater Rendezvous." Wash your stresses downstream as you relax on this two-day canoe trip on the Edisto River. Options include camping Saturday night at Colleton State Park in the primitive campground for free or in the campground at regular campsite price. Either way, reservations are required and can be made online at www.edistoriver.org. Make it even more stress-free by including your meals in your package. June 8-9, 2013. Saturday's paddle is from Colleton State Park to Mas Stokes Bridge. Sunday's paddle is from Stokes Bridge to Mas Old Field. For safety reasons, no pets are allowed on the trip.

  • What to Bring : Water, insect repellent, dry clothes. All paddling equipment is supplied for trips and workshops.
  • Event Hours : June 8-9, 2012. Paddle times: Saturday, 9am-4pm, Sunday 8:30am-3:30pm. Catered lunch for each day can be added to your trip for $10. Enjoy a catered dinner for $15 at Colleton State Park will be Saturday around 6pm.
  • Fee : $35/participant. Catered lunches $10 each, dinner (Lowcountry boil) $15.
