City of Loris

Loris is located in Horry County and located only 20 minutes from the Grand Strand. Loris is known for celebrating one of the South's true delicacies, Chicken Bog (a local specialty make with chicken, rice, sausage, and assorted seasonings). The Loris Bog-Off festival is held the third weekend of October with rides, concessions, performers and of course, Chicken Bog.
