Country Club Of South Carolina

This 900-acre development in Florence, SC, is a residential community woven around the magnificent Ellis Maples designed championship golf course. CCSC is a challenging, mature golf venue that has regularly served as a PGA-sanctioned tournament site where golfing legends like Tom Lehman and Lee Janzen played their way into The Show. Sculpted fairways wind along scenic lakes and Black Creek, with many greens tucked into hollows surrounded by dogwoods, azaleas and old-growth hardwoods. Despite its tournament history, the club's layout is remarkably playable for golfers at every skill level. Each hole offers unique vistas as well as satisfying rewards for a well-played shot. And to help you hone those shots, there's a complete package of practice facilities, including range, putting green, bunkers and professional instruction.

Best Hole: Number 18, a 460-yard par-4 that doglegs left around a lake to a slightly elevated green guarded by bunkers in front and a sloping hill to the right and behind.
