Explore the region's economic development from the early Edgefield pottery district to the textile industry to contemporary genetic science. Visitors experience life at the turn of the 19th century on "Main Street." Learn about local and exotic gems and minerals in our M.J. Doc Rhodes' Gallery and visit a Temperate Deciduous Forest and African Savanna in our Durst Gallery. Additionally, The Museum's Entryway and Upstairs Gallery features temporary exhibits on varying subjects on a rotating basis.
