Nestled close to the Ashley River on ten acres of land, Old Saint Andrew's property is comprised of a graveyard, the main church building dating back to 1706, the oldest surviving church in South Carolina, parish house and educational building. The parish church of the Bull and Drayton families, it underwent a $1.5 million restoration, restoring the church's appearance to 1855. The annual Tea Room and Gift Shop in the spring (the date varies each year) offers a Lowcountry luncheon fare. This thriving Episcopal church, featured in the mini series "North and South," continues to hold services on Sundays and Wednesdays, and welcomes all to worship. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
