Cayce Historical Museum

The museum interprets the agricultural, social and cultural heritage of Old Saxe Gotha (1733), Granby, Cayce and West Columbia. The main museum building is a replica of Fort Granby, a Revolutionary War fort. Among its featured exhibits is a Civil War exhibit which includes the only engagement between Union and Confederate forces at Congaree Creek as the Union army prepared to occupy Columbia.
