Come visit just to kayak, or spend the rest of your day touring the gardens, walking the trails, riding horses, or eating a world class meal. Make a weekend of it and stay at The Inn at Middleton Place for total immersion in nature and history. Whether you are an Inn guest, Garden Visitor, or lowcountry local, our kayak programs are open to everyone. Its just a 25 minute drive down scenic highway 61 from downtown Charleston to our private landing on the Ashley River. Our programs can be tailored for anyone from first time kayakers, to seasoned paddlers. We can design private programs to suite couples, families, wedding parties, corporate groups, and school groups, or sign up for one of our regularly scheduled activities.
