Ruth Drake Museum

The Ruth Drake Museum is stocked with pioneer artifacts, train relics, 19th Century domestic items and agricultural implements. Be entertained by our robotic train conductor as he tells stories about our rich railroad history. Type on a 1940’s Royal used to create the Belton High Warrior, put a handwritten note in our 1853 post office, or research your roots in our extensive genealogy collection. The museum is located in the Historic Belton Train Depot, which also houses the South Carolina Tennis Hall of Fame and the North End Exhibition Gallery. The North End Exhibition Gallery promotes traveling collections and quarterly exhibits of interesting artifacts. Featured are historic and personal memorabilia of community members on various topics of interest to visitors.
