Palmetto Carriage Tours

Tours are a blend of knowledge, wit, humor and history, recounting, witnessing and in some cases taking part in the ever-unfolding story that is Charleston. One-hour tours canvass 25 – 30 blocks of Charleston’s historic downtown district filled with gracious houses, gardens, mansions, churches and parks. You will hear about buildings, history, architecture, flora and people. Evening tours cover parts of the old walled city, historic churches and public buildings as well as the Cooper River Water.
