That's the assessment of Matthew Rudy of Golf Digest, who rates Mystical's three-day, three-night, three- or four-round offerings as the magazine's "Deal of the Week" for fall. Starting at $96 per person per night, players can stay in three-bedroom golf villas while playing Man O' War, the Wizard and the Witch - all designed by noted architect Dan Maples, yet offering three totally different golf experiences.
That's the Silver package, and the Gold, starting at $106 per night, offers the same golf deal with all meals (and two beers after each round) included. Considering that Man O' War, rated four stars of five by Golf Digest, regularly costs $110 for golf alone, the package is hard to beat for golfers wanting the best price deal.
Man O' War has water on every hole, including several island-green par 3s and even an island-hole par 4. The Wizard, located adjacent to Man O' War, was built to mirror a Scottish links-style course, while the Witch is a parkland-style course wending its way between wetlands and old-growth forests. The Wizard and the Witch also rate four stars from the magazine.
Rudy also recommends several local restaurants to complement the golf experience. Click here to read his article.
