Browntown Museum
Pee Dee Country
The Browntown Museum, a small Lowcountry farmstead, and typical of the homes of the antebellum South, stands as a silent sentiment to a Southern way of life long past. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the site includes primitive machinery, a cotton gin, corncrib, smokehouse, outhouse, and the c. 1845 Brown-Burrows house.
