Kiawah Island Golf Resort - Osprey Point

One of Tom Fazio's finest works, Osprey Point golf course at Kiaway Island Golf Resort is ranked among America's top 75 resort courses. Fazio had help, including four natural lakes, saltwater marsh, and dense forests of pine, palmetto, live oak and magnolia. Water comes into play on 15 holes. Best Hole: No. 9, a 461-yard par-4 dogleg left with a forced carry off the tee over a lagoon that lets you cut off as much as you dare. A bunker and the lagoon also guard the green. In the summer of 2014 Osprey completed a renovation of Osprey Point, completely regrassing the tees, fairways and greens with Paspalum Platinum (a similar turf as The Ocean Course) and restored the greens to their original sizes along with renovating all of the bunkering.
