Hatcher Garden & Woodland Preserve

This 12-acre public botanical garden features a series of ponds, walking trails, and an abundance of perennials, shrubs and trees. The garden also has two quarter-mile paved paths and one half-mile paved path that are wheel chair accessible. A woodland preserve with tranquil and inspirational features throughout, colorful and seasonal flower gardens, meandering creeks, reflective ponds and a cascading waterfall, and many species of birds, turtles and wildlife. Enjoy a self-guided tour of the garden with many comfortable resting benches along the paths, handicap accessible restrooms, picnic areas, and indigenous plant educational information for nature studies. The Nursery and Greenhouse offers plants for sale year round and a Gift Shop is open Monday-Friday.
