Sumter National Forest - United States Forest Service, Long Cane District

Wildlife and green space with associated recreation opportunities such as hiking/biking trails, OHV trails, hunting/fishing, and camping at Fell, Lick Fork Lake, and Parsons Mountain developed sites. Peaceful getaway can be obtained in this 118,529-acre woodland forested area which is also adjacent to the Army Corps of Engineer public lands on the east. These lands are adjacent to Clark's Hill Lake which provides ample water activities. A number of State Parks with recreational areas are also in this area to provide avenues for all types of outdoor recreation. Developed USFS Recreation sites: Lick Fork Lake and Parsons Mountain has seasonal winter closure period of November 15-May,1.
