Living History Park
Thoroughbred Country
This 7.5 acre park with natural springs, formally the site of North Augusta waterworks, now provides children with hands-on educational experience into the history of the area. The site includes the springhouse tavern and bake ovens, housed in the original pumphouse with a shake shingle roof, a stage area for performances, an in-ground cook pit, smoke house, treenware maker, milliner, blacksmith's forge, military encampment with Colonial Militia and other period crafts demonstrations. Park also provides outlets for recreation.
The park is available for weddings and other personal events.
