This historic district at the 2700 block of Cleveland Street is home to circa 1900s buildings that house antique shops, gift boutiques, an art gallery, arts and crafts, restaurants and the Elloree Heritage Museum & Cultural Center. The museum is open Wednesday through Saurday or by appointment by calling 803-897-2225. The 100-foot-wide street features brick crosswalks and is lined with flowering and hardwood trees, providing an inviting rural setting for shopping or browsing. Two blocks away, Joe Miller Park offers picnic tables and a shelter, a pavilion for community events and concerts and lighted tennis courts. Each March the town is the setting for the Elloree Trials Horse Race for thoroughbreds and quarter horses. The town is also the home of the annual Trash and Treasures sales, the annual Small Town Christmas and the Pork Fest.
