The Beacon Drive-In

Famous for burgers, barbeque, chili, and their own brand of tea (they serve more tea than any other U.S. restaurant), the Beacon has been an Upstate institution for almost 60 years, serving over 1 million people a year.
The Beacon serves food with a "talk to me, talk to me" rapidity that comforts the regulars and often disarms the unintiated.
Not only have presidents given their nod to the Beacon's good 'n plenty food served fast, the Food Network has featured their cheeseburgers.
