Sweetgrass Cultural Arts Festival

The festival will include an assortment of Gullah Geechee skits, storytelling, folklore music, dance, children performers, along with demonstrations and lectures on the history of sweetgrass basket making in the Lowcountry. A variety of children and family activities as well as an assortment of delicious Lowcountry Gullah Geechee foods will be provided for all to enjoy.

On Friday, June 1 join us for the Taste of Gullah at the Town of Mt. Pleasant Waterfront Park Visitors Center from 6-10 p.m.
