Waterford Golf Club

Olde English District

Olde English District

This spectacular course was designed by three-time U.S. Open Champion, Hale Irwin. Nestled within an intimate canvas of the Catawba River and towering hardwoods, Waterford Golf Club is an escape to nature that you and your guests will cherish. This scenic course features rolling fairways and trees that line both sides. Many of the fairways are dogleg configurations. Bunkers and water hazards (ponds and streams) provide a good challenge. Most of the Mini Verdi Bermuda greens are large and slightly undulating. The signature hole, #13, is a 423-yard, par 4 featuring a creek that runs in front of the tee box, then winds along the left of the fairway and up in front of the elevated green. Bunkers surround the green as well. This hole also has a split-level fairway. Waterford also features a driving range, restaurant anf fully stocked Golf Shop. Since opening in 1997, this classic design has received rave reviews from local and national media as well as golfers all over the Southeast.
