South Carolina's rich culinary heritage is showcased during these walking tours. The 2.5-hour Savor Flavors tour will immerse you in the history and culture of the Lowcountry. You will discover how our unique cuisine has evolved over the past 300+ years while sampling delicious specialties from local eateries, markets, bakeries, restaurants, and culinary landmarks. Offered daily at 10am and 2pm. The Chef's Kitchen Tour is a 2.5 hour walking tour that gives participants behind the scenes understanding of some of Charleston's best chefs and their restaurants that have created the Lowcountry Cuisine Renaissance. You will visit several great restaurants where you will explore the history of the restaurant, learn about the chef's approach to culinary excellence, have the menus interpreted by a pro, and see just what it takes to produce those fabulous meals. Tour offered Fridays only at 9:45am.
