The Etherredge Center, located on the campus of the University of South Carolina Aiken, houses a 687 seat proscenium theatre and a 100 seat blackbox known as the O'Connell Theatre. The Center is the home of the department of Visual and Performing Arts equipped with art galleries, studios, practice rooms, vocal and instrumental ensembles, and hosts a wide variety of musical, dance and theatrical productions which are provided annually.
