Chester Historic District Walking Tour

Chester's Historic District, placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, features a number of eclectic architectural styles. The brochures for self-guided walking tour provide a history on the development of Chester, with interesting facts on the Civil War, area homes and businesses. Expanded and reworked in 2017. Walking Tours are available at both of our museums, at the welcome center, and the local chamber of commerce. Brochures are available at Chester City Hall, the Transportation Museum, the Main Museum and other locations.
