Modern Taste of Charleston Preview Dinner

In the mood for she crab soup, duck confit, butternut squash terrine, heirloom beet salad, white tuna, veal short rib, foie gras pot de crème and mignardises? Make plans to dine at Tristan on Jan. 20. Tristan's Chef Aaron Deal will present a "Modern Taste of Charleston" at the James Beard House in New York City on Jan. 27, and he'll preview his menu at a special charity dinner on Jan. 20. The seven-course menu will be paired with wine, and will feature sustainable produce from The Chef's Garden. The cost is $100 per person (plus tax and gratuity) and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Veggie U, an organization that teaches kids about making wise food choices.
