Driving up to SNO-CAP Drive-In on the fourth Saturday of the month is like taking a step back in time. Each month the 50’s style drive-in hosts a cruise in where sometimes hundreds of antique car lovers and owners pile in for a nostalgic moment in North Augusta.
Now in its 45th year in business, not much has changed about SNO-CAP over the years, except the owners and menu prices. It would be nice to still get a milkshake for 30 cents, huh? Customers can still order drinks in frosted mugs and food is made-to-order. The original parking speakers still exist, though they are out of order. Just honk your horn when you pull in, a friendly waitress will come out and take your order.
Located in Region 3 of the South Carolina National Heritage Corridor, SNO-CAP Drive-In is a local legend serving Cherry Cokes and milkshakes the old fashion way.
