Poe's Tavern

Located just two blocks from the beach on Sullivan's Island, Poe's Tavern is best known for drinks and burgers. The juicy half-pound burgers are made with certified Angus Chuck beef, ground in-house and cooked to order. Poe's wouldn't be complete without our expansive selection of bottled and draught beers, and a healthy wine selection. The restaurant is named in honor of author Edgar Allan Poe who was stationed at Fort Moultrie at the western end of Sullivan's Island for 13 months beginning November 18, 1827.
