To showcase Myrtle Beach’s destination wedding professionals, the first annual Grand Strand Wedding Salon will take place on the weekend of October 28-29, 2011, at St. John’s Inn in Myrtle Beach, SC. The Grand Strand Wedding Salon opens on Friday, October 28, 2011, with a Welcome Reception for registered couples and vendors at St. John’s Inn. On Saturday morning, October 29, registered couples take a chauffeured tour of the area’s wedding venues from the South Strand to the North End. That afternoon, the Wedding Showcase at St. John’s Inn features more than 30 of the area’s wedding professionals and is open to the public. The weekend closes on Saturday evening with a rousing After Party at St. John’s Inn for exhibitors and registered couples complete with food, drink, music, and prizes.
