Kiawah Island Art and House Tour

Five stunning Kiawah Island homes in the private gated community will be open for public viewing during the 13th annual Kiawah Island Art and House Tour. Proceeds from the event benefit education, exhibition, and outreach programs at the Gibbes Museum of Art.

Descriptions of the Five Kiawah Island Homes
House 1 - 495 Old Dock Road
A sweeping staircase welcomes visitors to this home with expansive views of the Kiawah River and marsh. Upon entering, viewers will find a grand piano, imported glass chandeliers, and lighting from Italy. On one of the walls there is a magnificent collage of glass that resembles the art of renowned glass sculptor Dale Chihuly.

House 2 - 46 LeMoyne Lane
Overlooking the 15th hole at the Cassique golf course is 46 LeMoyne Lane. This beautiful Shingle style home is inspired by the English Arts and Crafts movement of the early 20th century. A collection of sculptures, created by the owner’s mother, add a unique quality to this island home.

House 3 - 48 Kiawah Island Club Drive
The footprint of this home follows a 180 degree arced shoreline of a lagoon, which appealed to the homeowners’ desire for curving design elements throughout the house. Situated in the Settlement neighborhood, the home has spectacular views of the twelfth green and thirteenth tee of Kiawah’s River Course.

House 4 - 158 Grey Fox Den
Standing on a small peninsula with 250 degree views of marshland and the Kiawah River is a gorgeous zinc-roofed shingle style home. A beautiful open-air living room overlooks a view of the infinity pool, kayak dock, and fire pit.

House 5 – 270 Woodland Garden Lane
Influenced by the British Arts and Crafts movement of the early twentieth century is a lovely stucco cottage at the Cassique golf resort on Kiawah Island. The owner’s art and antique doorstop collections are just two of the highlights of this elegant and welcoming home.
