Palmetto Brewing Company

This brewery in the heart of Charleston is steeped in history, having lived through earthquakes, hurricanes, saloons, prohibition, and even a civil war. When you take a tour, it's almost like walking through time, and you can see various displays featuring remnants of the old Palmetto Brewery. The new Palmetto Brewing Company, though, has been making great beer since 1993 and invites you to come take part in the tradition! Tuesdays through Saturdays you can enjoy tastings and tours, and the tap room often features live entertainment.
