Grand Strand Saltwater Anglers Association Date: Friday, April 26, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. “Captains Meeting”, Beaver Bar, Murrells Inlet. Date: Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 6:00 a.m. to 5:00p.m. Tournament Day, Murrells Inlet. It's that time of year again! On April 27, 2019, the Grand Strand Saltwater Anglers Association will be hosting its 18th Annual Flounder Tournament. This is a well attended, well advertised event and is the first large scale fishing tournament of the year. The Grand Strand Saltwater Anglers Flounder Tournament proceeds continue to support the SCDNR Reef Program, which so far received over $75,000 in donations. We are proud to be involved with this program that works to increase the artificial Reef system. Conservation of the Marine environment is our passion and we support many programs that encourage the management of our fishing and natural resources we are blessed to have here in coastal South Carolina. We also contribute to the Coastal Carolina University Scholarships fund for Marine science students. We are also a proud contributor to SALTT, Student Anglers League Tournament Trail for middle and high schools students of Horry and Georgetown County Students.
