Thoroughbred Racing Hall Of Fame & Museum

The museum celebrates the great tradition of Thoroughbred racing and Aiken’s vital role in it. The famed Aiken Training Track has been the training ground for 40 champion Thoroughbreds and each have been immortalized in the Hall of Fame. Photos, trophies and other memorabilia highlight the careers of these famous race horses. Two of the best known are Kelso, a five-time national champion and 1981 Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner Pleasant Colony. Artistic and historic exhibitions are held throughout the year. Call or e-mail for more information.
