Charles Pinckney was an author and a signer of the United States Constitution. This site, Snee Farm, is comprised of the last 28-acres of one of his plantations. The National Park Service is dedicated to sharing the the life and public service of Charles Pinckney, the contributions and lives of the enslaved African Americans who worked on Lowcountry plantations, and the United States as a young, emerging nation. Visitors can walk the grounds, explore exhibits and attend ranger-led programs. The park is open Wednesday-Sunday. Closed Monday-Tuesday, and Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
