Tricks and Treats at the State Museum
Capital City & Lake Murray Country
New for 2008 is a Haunted Halloween Party beginning at 11 a.m.. Children will be invited to participate in various activities throughout the Museum such as Goblin Games, Creepy Crafts, Frightful Face Painting and Spooky Storytelling.
Guests will be entertained by Nick Propst and Trixie the Catalina Macaw with pocket magic and incredible balloon art. Young visitors also will take part in a scavenger hunt that will earn them prizes and scary treasures as they “creepy-crawl” through the museum galleries, gathering the items needed from the Museum’s "ghostly guardians.” For an additional $2, children can pick out the perfect pumpkin to paint for a haunting Halloween jack-o-lantern.
Come in costume and receive $1 OFF regular Museum admission.
