Built in 1842, consecrated in 1843. Oldest church building in Aiken. Behind the sanctuary are interred botanist Henry Ravenel and poet James Matthews Legare. Only Confederate soldiers who died in the 1865 Battle of Aiken were allowed burial privileges. Mead Hall School (pre-K through 8th grade) is one of our outreach ministries located on the grounds.

I-20 exit 18 to Hwy. 19 S. Turn right on Richland Ave at the fountain. Travel 1 block. Turn left on Pendleton St. (All the downtown streets are one-way divided boulevards). The Church is on the corner. The Offices are past the graveyard on the right.
