The regional museum looks at various aspects of Spartanburg County's history through permanent and changing exhibits. The permanent collection includes the Pardo Stone, Camp Wadsworth, Camp Croft, textile quilts and a doll collection. A self-guided walking tour booklet for downtown Spartanburg is available in the museum gift shop.

I-26 W. exit 28 to Hwy. 221 N. which becomes S. Church St. Turn onto E. Main St. and go to Pine St. and turn left. From Pine St. turn left onto St. John St. Museum is located in the Chapman Cultural Center, which is on the right.
Admission is free. Groups : Call for guided and after-hour tour rates.
