McKissick Museum is one of the largest University museums in the Southeast. As the main repository for the University of South Carolina, the Museum houses collections in material culture, decorative arts, natural sciences, history and fine arts. McKissick hosts several exhibitions a year, on a rotating basis, in addition to two permanent exhibitions: "Invitation to Explore" & "Natural Curiosity: The University of South Carolina and the Evolution of Scientific Inquiry in the Natural World".
