If you’re the kind of traveler who likes to take home a memento of your vacation, you’ll love looking for that special something in North Augusta. With a wide array of local gift shops, antique stores and clothing boutiques, you’re sure to find the perfect keepsake.

Here are some great little shops to get you started on your hunt:

Shoppe3130 – Operating out of a historic home in downtown North Augusta, this sweet boutique offers ladies’ and children’s clothing and accessories, gift items and party supplies.

Kit & Caboodles – Looking for gifts to take back home to friends and family? You’ll find lots of cool ideas at this shop. It carries an extensive selection of Yankee Candle Company items, flags, garden ornaments, jewelry and collegiate gear.

The Culture Shoppe – As the name implies, the focus here is on clothing, jewelry and accessories representing different cultures. The shop also carries herbal tonics, crystals, oils and other metaphysical products.

High Cotton – You won’t leave empty-handed when you drop by this cozy gift shop. The selection of goods includes everything from bulldog and hydrant salt and pepper shakers to hand cream, accent jewelry and unique serving dishes.

Polka Dots and Ruffles – Shop for adorable handmade children’s clothing—and take something home for yourself, too. The T-shirt collection at this shop will have you in stitches!

Impressions of the South –  Enjoy a freshly brewed cup of coffee or tea while you peruse the shop’s many seasonal and holiday-themed gifts, jewelry and accessories, house decor and gourmet chocolates. The locally owned shop also offers classes on making seasonal and decorative wreaths.

Organically You – This family-owned store specializes in South Carolina foods and products. Pick up a loaf of fresh artisan bread made by an authentic German bakery in Brunson, health tonics and remedies from Yoder’s Naturals in Fair Play and chocolate bars from Agape Chocolates in Graniteville.

Antique stores – You could spend a whole day browsing through Riverfront Antique Mall and Singing Hills Antiques. The collection of vintage items runs the gamut, from period pieces dating back to the 1750s to antique garden tools, fishing lures and golf clubs.

Bell Farms Strawberry Patch – If you’re in town between April and June, don’t miss the chance to pick your own strawberries. Bell Farms also offers freshly picked strawberries in various sized containers.
