One of the special things about a Kiawah Island beach trip is how perfect it is for families, couples, nature lovers, golfers, tennis players and foodies. It’s really perfect for everyone.
If tennis is your thing, reserve a court at the Roy Barth Tennis Center and think about scheduling a lesson with one of the world-class instructors or select a special class to improve your skills.
Golf at the five courses on the island isn’t to be missed. With layouts designed by Pete Dye, Jack Nicklaus, Tom Fazio, Clyde Johnston and Gary Player, your golf vacation will be an experience like no other. Be sure to play The Ocean Course, one of the premier courses in the Americas, at least once. Your golf buddies are bound to ask if you played it when they hear you spent your vacation on Kiawah Island!
The all-star lineup of layouts includes:
• The Ocean Course
• Turtle Point
• Osprey Point
• Cougar Point
• Oak Point
Fishing charters can be scheduled through the recreation office for coastal and off-shore excursions.
Besides swimming in the ocean, you can also cool off at the Night Heron Family and Children’s pools and the West Beach pool. They are open to guests and residents. You can even schedule a swimming lesson if your little ones need to improve their skills.
The Kiawah Island Golf Resort's Recreation office can schedule any of these activities for you and arrange for bike, beach chair and umbrella rentals, too.
