Get ready to rumble! Spartanburg's mountain biking trail offers stump jumpers plenty of air-catching thrills. And this rock-'em, sock-'em ride is right in the middle of town.
The 6 miles of single-track trails wind their way through the woods in the heart of Duncan Park, home to the oldest minor league stadium in the country.
Described as a ski area for mountain bikers, the buttery smooth trails feature jumps, pump turns and those adrenaline-inducing whoop-de-dos. With few steep ascents, young cyclists or beginners can get in on the backwoods fun, too.

The trails can be accessed from several points in the park. Once you get going, it's hard to stop. The undulating terrain keeps you flowing along with hardly a pump to the pedals.
Passing within a few feet of each other in some spots, the trails form a network with lots of crossover points that allow riders to mix it up 50 different ways. Daredevils will enjoy the technical challenges and big, sweeping hills where you can pick up speed like a downhill racer.
Within Duncan Park's 102 acres, you'll also find a small lake, a 1-mile walking trail, two baseball fields, a playground, four tennis courts, picnic tables and the famed baseball stadium.
