When we say bring the whole family, we mean it—and that includes your beloved fur babies. From welcoming hotels and pet-friendly patios to scenic nature trails and off-leash parks, South Carolina makes it easy to bring your pooch on vacation.

Columbia
Unpack your bags at the pet-friendly Graduate Columbia and then kick off your trip with margaritas and globally inspired tacos—as well a special plate from the Puppy Menu—at Publico Kitchen & Tap. At Sesquicentennial State Park, explore the trails and off-leash dog park, and then unwind with craft beers on a patio at Jake’s on Devine.

Greenville
Stay in the midst of the action at the pet-friendly Aloft Greenville Downtown, which allows two pets for no extra fees. Start your morning with a walk along the 22-mile Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail, and then swing by The Barkery Bistro for an organic, gourmet dog treat. Let your pup meet some new pals at The Unleashed Dog Bar, featuring an off-leash dog park and a bar with TVs, beers and indoor-outdoor seating.

Aiken
Bring your pup to revel in luxury at The Willcox Hotel, Restaurant & Spa, and in the morning, enjoy freshly roasted coffee on the patio at The New Moon Café. On Tuesday and Saturday mornings, pick up fresh fruit, boiled peanuts and homemade treats at Aiken County Farmers Market. Then, walk on the 3-mile (on-leash) Jungle Nature Trail at Aiken State Park or explore the many trails (voice command) at Hitchcock Woods.
