In Westminster, Southern fare is the cuisine of choice. After all, you’re in the South. But you’ll find more than just fried chicken and collards on restaurant menus in this Upcountry town.

Here are a few of the options:

Yousef’s Kitchen – The owner/chef may be from the Middle East, but the restaurant fare is pure Southern comfort food. The daily meat-and-three buffet is the specialty of the house with all the popular favorites, including fried chicken legs, beans, cornbread and cabbage casserole.

Farm Cafe – Located on the farm, this casual restaurant offers a full breakfast menu and lunch selections that include hamburgers, sandwiches and subs.

Down Town Bar & Grill – Enjoy great burgers, live music and games at this Main Street restaurant. Menu options also include pizza, sandwiches and salads.

Beef & Rib Family Restaurant – Like all good diner-style eateries, Beef & Rib offers a wide selection of entrees, from seafood to steaks and more. It’s also open for breakfast and lunch.

Puerto Nuevo – If you’re in the mood for Mexican fare, this restaurant offers all your favorites, from fajitas to taco salad.

Lucky Strike – Another popular Main Street dining spot, Lucky Strike features a menu with everything from hamburgers and hotdogs to a catfish plate.

Eva’s Restaurant – Known for its friendly service and down-home cooking, Eva’s offers a hearty breakfast and brunch for those who love a big meal to start the day.
