On Folly Beach, shopping is mostly limited to surf shops, beach souvenir and beachwear shops. You're at the beach, after all! Here are three of the top picks:

Ocean Surf Shop – Ocean Surf Shop specializes in surfboards, stand-up paddleboards (SUP), skateboards, bodyboards and skimboards.

McKelvin’s Surf Shop – These folks are serious about their surfing. Established in 1965 by Dennis McKelvin and his eldest son Ted, a pioneer surfer in the area, McKelvin’s originally sold only boards, wax and snacks. Today, customers will find everything a surfer will need for a day on the waves.

Bert's Market – Patronized by surfers, skaters, hipsters, retirees and every kind of shopper in between, this local market bills itself as the "rockingest grocery in town." Along with a large selection of food items, you'll find deli sandwiches, flowers, wine and assorted gift items.

Souvenir Shops – Folly Trading Company, Mr. John’s Beach Store and Native are some of the souvenir shops to check out. Your vacation isn't complete without a Folly Beach T-shirt or beach towel!
