There’s an adage that says it was a wise person who invented beer. If that’s the case, there’s a whole lot of wisdom fueling South Carolina’s beer industry. More than 100,000 barrels are produced annually by the state’s many talented brewers, whose creativity, adventurous palates and expertise are expressed through each pour. On the receiving end of their craft is the beer-loving public, running the gamut from casual drinkers to serious aficionados.
