Location

From State Highway 9, East of the Broad River, turn south onto Roy Wade Road and proceed 2 miles to a stop sign. Continue straight onto Leeds Highway and travel south for 5.7 miles. Turn right onto Park Rd, State Highway 574 and travel south for 3.6 miles.

Woods Ferry Recreation Area (Sumter National Forest)

Woods Ferry Picnic Area and Boat Ramp Open year round.Picnic area has two picnic shelters and individual picnic tables and grills. Four fishing platforms for bank fishing and boat launch to the Broad River. Woods Ferry Campground has one group site (up to 15 people) and 28 single family campsites. Flush toilets, drinking water and hot showers. Horse camping with horse corrals available at ten sites. Access to a 15 mile, Woods Ferry Horse Trail from campground. Leashed pets allowed. Fee required to camp. Campground is open April 1st through October 30th.
