We are a family-run event venue operating in the historic former Sharon School. We offer bed and breakfast, outdoor/indoor area for weddings, reunions, birthday parties, business events, or any other special occasion you may be celebrating. Just 3 miles outside of Historic Abbeville, SC, this bed & breakfast has spacious, homey rooms with breakfast always included. • Benita and David Chupp, a local Mennonite family in Abbeville County SC, purchased this historic former schoolhouse, which had been renovated and repurposed to serve as an event venue and bed and breakfast inn. • Only recently have they been active in pursuing overnight guests other than wedding parties. • Sharon Manor hosts indoor and outdoor weddings, reunions, corporate events, and any other special occasions or celebrations. • The schoolhouse was built in the 1920s and the Chupp family purchased the schoolhouse and performed a second renovation on it after the former owners had done some renovations. • The lofty ceilings and tall windows allow natural light to filter in and provide views of the surrounding farmland. • There’s nothing like getting a good night’s sleep and Sharon Manor’s king-size bed at Sharon Manor do not disappoint. • All guests are served what we call an “unforgettable breakfast”! Breakfast bowls with grits, sausage, spinach, and potatoes, topped with over-easy fried eggs. And fresh-baked cinnamon rolls. • As an aside, the Chupps live in one section of the house, so they are all ‘hands on’ when it comes to hospitality and service!
